Beginning in 2010, I’ve been an integral part of this effort by working with the client to create and deliver multifaceted campaigns to promote the international games in stadiums across London.&nbsp; Each year, our team developed the conceptual design and branding for the games, beginning with a detailed style guide to be used by project partners, from broadcasters and sponsors, to event planners and all creative teams.&nbsp;In addition to the style guide, we also created the complete experiential and environmental graphics systems for each stadium hosting games that year. This included large scale exterior and interior graphics and the in-bowl experience in iconic London stadiums such as Wembley, Twickenham, and the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.&nbsp; In 2022, the series hit its biggest milestone yet, expanding the international games to stadiums in Munich and Mexico City as part of a branded trio. To celebrate this expansion, we created a campaign that brought in patterns and typography inspired by the local cultures of each city. The style guide was developed as a kit of parts to be used and expanded upon in the future as the games were introduced to more cities.&nbsp; Project Details Event Branding Roles: Design Lead, The event&nbsp;showcased the complete Ford Mustang line and Ford Performance racing vehicles, alongside top racing drivers and live entertainment.A bold, “60” mark with tapered stripes creating a sense of motion and acceleration, served as the primary visual across the event and social media, creating a cohesive, high-impact presence. The stripes and iconic checkered racing graphics integrated with black and white photography, amplified the brand energy at every touchpoint. At the Expo 2020 Dubai, we designed a multi-sensory experience to educate attendees about this initiative. The experience itself was designed to be serene and tranquil, with small graphic features throughout highlighting various statistics. Our visual system focused on the idea that&nbsp;behind every creation is a creator, empowered by Canon’s tools and technology.&nbsp;We worked with Canon to create a brand-forward booth experience with large scale graphics running across the pelmet and scrim. Inside of the booth, we also affected all branded moments from booth level signage to smaller scale brand activations. The design starred a series of sculptures featuring cut-outs of iconic bits of London culture. The sculptures were stretegically placed beside key New Orleans’ landmarks to create photo-ops that connected both cities.Visitors were encouraged to interact with the installation via a photo competition, in which using the hashtag #BAlovesNOLA, could win them a free round-trip flight.&nbsp; The campaign excelled in its mission to engage with its audience, generating over 6.6 million media impressions from users. It’s success carried through to additional route launches in Nashville and the Bay area.
